Massachusetts Senator John Kerry Endorsement

I thought I would pass along a really cool endorsement we received from Senator John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic Nominee for President of the United States.  Here's what he said:

Cowboy-Up in Texas on November 16, 2008

The 4th and final stop in the 2008 National Tour will be held in Dallas/Ft. Worth on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at the Ft. Worth Convention Center.

We are so excited to be hosting our Southern Regional event at the Ft. Worth Convention Center.  This incredible facility boasts a 10,000 seat indoor arena that has seen the likes of everyone from Hannah Montana to Barack Obama.  And now, our City of College Dreams!

Not only will we be inviting families from Texas to join us at this unforgettable event, but we will draw families from Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and other surrounding states. 

Hope to see ya'll there (cowboy boots optional!)

The City of Brotherly Love welcomes the City of College Dreams

Join us in Philadelphia on Sunday, October 19, 2008, at the east coast region City of College Dreams Program.   The historic and grand Pennsylvania Convention Center is the perfect setting for the 2nd stop in the 2008 national tour.

We will not only be inviting families from Pennsylvania, but will draw folks from Maryland, New York, Ohio, New Jersey, and other surrounding states.  We can't wait to share this amazing event with you!

Westward Ho -- November 9, 2008

Join us for the third City of College Dreams 2008 Regional Event in Portland, Oregon on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the beautiful Oregon Convention Center.

We are thrilled to be hosting this event at the Oregon Convention Center which is the largest convention center in the Pacific Northwest as well as a leader in sustainable practices.  We can't wait to have our City of College Dreams event in this incredible space! 

Not only will Oregonians be able to attend, but the event will draw families from Washington, Idaho, Northern California, and other areas in the Western U.S.

Lightning Talks - High-Impact Information in 20 Minutes or Less

How many of you have had to sit through a boring, seemingly never-ending lecture?  I know I sure have.  It is not the length of a presentation that will give it impact, it's the content. 

In the spirit of high-impact, exciting content, we have developed "Lightning Talks."  At each of our City of College Dreams events, we will feature quick, informational, innovative 15-20 minute presentations on hot button educational topics.  Some of the topics may include:

- Top 5 Questions to Ask When Speaking with an Admissions Counselor

- 5 Tips for Home School Students when Applying to College
