How many of you have had to sit through a boring, seemingly never-ending lecture?  I know I sure have.  It is not the length of a presentation that will give it impact, it's the content. 

In the spirit of high-impact, exciting content, we have developed "Lightning Talks."  At each of our City of College Dreams events, we will feature quick, informational, innovative 15-20 minute presentations on hot button educational topics.  Some of the topics may include:

- 3 Things Every Student Athlete Must Know In Order to Obtain a Scholarship

- Top 5 Questions to Ask When Speaking with an Admissions Counselor

- 5 Tips for Home School Students when Applying to College

These are just a few examples of content that could be covered at the event.  In our event day program, we will provide a list of "Lightning Talk" topics and times.  These exciting presentations will happen in our Town Hall Square, enabling you to pick and choose which topics are most appealing to your educational needs.
