Welcoming Carroll University to our Chicago Regional Event

Would you like to attend a college that not only encourages critical thinking, but also provides a high-energy community for learning?

Established in 1846, Carroll University is Wisconsin's oldest institution of higher education.  We're pleased to announce that an admissions and financial aid team from Carroll will be available to answer your questions at our City of College Dreams - Live! Midwest Regional Event in Chicago on Sept. 28.

Located in Waukesha, Wisconsin (just 15 miles east of Milwaukee), Carroll draws upon the advantages of its location to offer access to a wide range of internship and career opportunities.  Additionally, about 98 percent of all Carroll students receive some form of financial aid.

Several notable merit-based scholarship programs offered by Carroll University include:

  • TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP:  Renewable scholarship of $11,000 per year for students who are in the top 20% of their academic class rank and have received a score of 30 or above on their ACT.

  • VOORHEES SCHOLARSHIP:  Renewable scholarship of $10,000 per year for those who are in the top 20% of their academic class rank and have received a score of 27-29 on their ACT.

  • CHARLES CARROLL SCHOLARSHIP:  Renewable scholarship of $8,500 per year that recognizes those who are in the top 40% of their academic class rank and have received a score of 24-29 on their ACT.

  • PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP:  Renewable scholarship of $6,000 per year for any Carroll student who is in the top 40% of their academic class rank and have received a score of 21-23 on their ACT.

Carroll also offers a very favorable treatment of outside scholarships:  If you receive a scholarship from a corporation, foundation, professional association, or other private source, Carroll will not reduce your need-based financial aid package.

"Carroll University is very excited to be participating in the City of College Dreams event for the first time," says Matthew Engelien, the assistant director of admission.  "We look forward to the opportunity to grow on our academic reputation and share with others the Carroll experience."
