Scholarships for Boys involved in Scouting

Does anyone know of scholarships that are available for boys who are involved in the Boy Scouts of America. We have heard rumors of an institution that offers a full 4 year scholarships to boys who have attained their Eagle Scout rank. I sure would like to hear back from anyone who might have information on this subject.

Haven't heard of any institution that offers a full 4 years. Would love to know about that one!

My son is an Eagle, and MANY colleges/universities offer $1,000. off for the Eagle. As a matter of fact, we just got an email this morning from an admissions counselor congratulating him on his eagle and his 53 merit badges. My husbands comment was: SHOW ME THE MONEY!

The American Legion offers scholarships to scouts. Just go to their website and type the word "scholarship" in their search box at www.legion.org. NESA (National Eagle Scout Association) offers many scholarships as well at www.nesa.org. Comcast also offers a "leaders and achievers" scholarships that rewards scouters.
