More About Me

Karylinn Echols serves as co-producer of Ben Kaplan's City of College Dreams – Live! regional events.

Karylinn's background includes event planning, project management, organizational development, professional development training, and political campaign management.  As a 'life-long' learner, Karylinn went back to school at the age of 40 to earn her Masters Degree in Organizational Management.  And, with her passion for politics, Karylinn served as a City Councilor in Gresham, Oregon, the 4th largest city in the state.

Karylinn has devoted much of her professional and personal energies to working with non-profit organizations.  She's held jobs with a national non-profit member organization, a local elder advocacy program, and a business non-profit association.  She has also served on the board of a variety of non-profits with an array of missions and purposes, as well as helped start three non-profit organizations working in the areas of the criminal justice system, drunk driving, and the arts.

Karylinn's role on the City of College Dreams team includes venue management, exhibitor services, and liaison services to education and professional associations.
